At the January meeting we learnt a lot about our sewing machines and how to keep them in perfect working order, and what to do when things go wrong. I think the overall picture was to get to know your own sewing machine better.

At White Rose Quilters February evening meeting on the 19th we will be welcoming Hazel Williams who will be talking about how she came to set up her quilting business, 'Cotton Cocktails', and what its like to present her projects on TV. Hazel will also be bringing along lots of pieces to show us, so that we can learn about some of the classes she teaches and the kits she sells.
Hazel will also be bringing a selection of other goodies from her shop.  We need to remember to bring along our pennies as there will be lots of nice stuff to buy.

Also just a reminder that Grovenor Shows Ltd are putting on the Spring Quilt Festival at The Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate, 21st to the 23rd February, 10-00 am to 4-30 pm.

So lots of exciting 'Quilty' things for us to enjoy and lots of opportunity for us to add to our stash
