BOM

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all safe & well & enjoying your various sewing projects. I have completed the BOM - take a look at it on the Show & Tell page. If you would like to share yours, please email me a photo of it (or any other project) to  sheltonjill1@gmail.com & I will post it.

How to post a comment

Hi Everyone,

It seems that posting a comment is not as simple as it seems! Here is a guide to posting:
  1. log on to https://whiterosequilters.blogspot.com
  2. at the end of the Blog, click on 'comments' (this may vary according to the device you use - there may be 'post your comment' or a box saying 'enter your comment') If none of these are visible, click on ‘no comments’ (mad I know!)
  3. Type in comment
  4. you will be asked to log on to or create a Google account.
  5. your post will not appear immediately, it has to be approved by the Blog administrators
If this all seems too complicated, you could always email me your comments & I will post for you.
It would be nice to use the Blog as an interactive way to keep in touch & share information.

Lockdown Greetings

Hello White Rose Quilters.
I hope that everyone & their families are well during lockdown & that you are enjoying the unexpected extra time to get on with new or unfinished projects - I can’t wait to see what everyone has been up to!
The Committee has been catapulted into the digital age by the pandemic & we have had a couple of ‘Zoom’ meetings! We thought that the Blog might be a good way to keep in touch & share what we have been doing during lockdown. If we comment on the posts we can have a digital chat! Through our comments, we can share news, hints & tips, have ‘show & tell’, ask for advice etc. What do you think?
Lis has kindly (and patiently!) talked me through how to post on her Blog so here I am with my first post. Please enter your comments in 'Post a Comment' below the post. IF that box does not appear (it did on the preview but not when I posted!!) then click the 'no comments' box (I know, that doesn't make sense to me either!) & it should magically appear!

Last, but certainly not least, congratulations go to Lis who has won The Quilters Guild, Sue Ridgewell Challenge, with her fantastic quilt 'Golden Eagle'. This year's Conference was due to be held in Stirling and entrants had to create a wall hanging inspired by the title 'Celebrating Scotland'.
